Start with where the walker will go and who will use it. Here is how Rick sorts the six.
Everyday errands on a budget?
The Z21 at $79 does the basics well: a seat that sets to three heights, handles that set to five, a bag, and 8” puncture-proof tires that roll over sidewalk cracks.
Tired of hunching over a walker?
The Z22 Upright puts the handles high (44.1” to 50”) with forearm rests, so you stand tall and your arms share the load.
Lifting it in and out of a car?
The Z35 PackGo has a magnesium frame of about 12.6 lb, and all four wheels pop off so it packs small for a trunk or a trip.
Walking part of the way, riding the rest?
The Z51 Shift Combo and the Z59 Bariatric both turn into a transport chair with footrests. The Z59 is the heavy-duty one, rated to 400 lb; the Z51 is rated to 300 lb.
Hills, ramps or gravel?
Kingman sits around 3,300 feet, and plenty of driveways and parking lots here slope or turn to gravel. The Z63 Adjusta-Speed has a control box with three speed settings, so the walker does not run ahead of you going downhill, and it never needs charging.
